We all know how Joker is the arch nemesis of Batman. They both complement each other and Joker has accepted the fact that he is nothing without Batman and Batman completes him. Joker doesn’t want to kill Batman.
He wants to break him. He wants to break his willpower which makes Batman the super human that he is. Batman has total control on his will power and his sense and he has a motto that he follows very seriously.
Batman does not kill anyone!
There are a lot of fan theories and fan fiction written by fans around the world about Batman and Joker both. But this specific theory is messing with each and every fan’s head around the world. Let us actually know what this theory says.
The theory is written by reddit user generalzee and this is what it says:
“Before the Joker, Gotham was a mess. Entire sections of the city were closed off due to madness, organized crime ran rampant, and the majority of important city officials were wildly corrupt,” generalzee writes, “The city even tolerated a renegade vigilante who ran around wearing a rubber suit (Okay, special armor and carbon fiber, but they don’t know that).”
“Everyone must realize that Joker, despite his claim otherwise, really was ‘The Man With The Plan’ throughout the entire film”
Now this sounds kinda true if we take a look at the happenings in Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The first movie in the trilogy started with the fact that Gotham needed a hero who could bring the shine back to the city which was now lost beneath the factors of organized crimes. Gotham was actually a city that showed the epitome of crimes, mobs and what not unless, Batman started to clear the streets but he could only do so much.
These mobs and criminals had chances to kill Batman and someday that might have happened but Joker wanted Batman all to himself and this is why he started clearing the streets.
Joker’s way of doing is what makes him the enemy of Batman and this is why he needs to go down. While cleaning up the streets he murdered many people both innocent as well as criminals but by doing so he himself became a villain.
In the end he successfully converted Harvey Dent, the celebrated District Attorney of Gotham into a villain that Batman had to deal with. Joker is the one who aggregated everything that each and every mob member in Gotham had in the name of providing them assurance and later bombed and burned their money!
Now this is trippy, isn’t it? Have you ever thought about Joker this way? Me neither but this changes many things and the whole storyline in the Batman comics.
But this doesn’t make Joker any less of a criminal that he is and he needs to be eliminated for good!
