During my exams, I always procrastinate on this very topic i.e. how to improve my memory and in this process I forget to study for exams and the ultimate result is definitely not good.
But then, I have some tips for you that you can use to get some amazing grade on your NEXT exam. Notice how I used the word next? That was intentional because you are probably browsing through this post while you are having your exam week, right? 😉
I’m just kidding! 😀
Human brain is an amazing work of nature. Facts say that a human brain can easily store data that are up to 4 TB in size. How cool is that?
All the memories from childhood, important events like remembering birthdays of your spouse or significant other. See, you really can’t remember all these events, can you? This is why I am going to present these 5 AWESOME tips that will help you improve your memory and you will remember to bring those milk and eggs while coming back home.
Repeat it. Again, again & again – 30 times!
Mugging up something is one of the best ways to remember something. It is one of the best ways that helps me remember some answers for my exams or something that I need to do.
People say that if you repeat something while focusing for at least 30 times, you will remember it and it will be set in your memory for a good amount of time.
Use your imagination – Create a pattern!
If you want to remember something, just make a pattern or just associate it with something significant. Creating a pattern means if you have a list of points to remember, just make a pattern by remembering the first alphabet of the sentences of each point. Trust me this helps and you can also use your imagination to create more patterns.
Draw a picture in your mind
Every word reminds us of something that we can easily picturize. If you have something to do related to your Car, then just think of your car every once in a while and associate your task with the imagination of a car. Every time you think or talk of a car, you can easily remember the task.
Imagine a room and store the memory in it
Imagine you have a room where you have a few things kept. Just associate your memory with a thing that is kept in that room. You can also add a few more elements inside the room to make it better for you to remember it.
Take some time, relax and breathe
A tired brain will hardly be able to do any productive thing. Our brain is not a mechanical muscle but it is still the part that control each and every part of our body and our actions. We use our brain even when we sleep.
Just take some time off and have a break, your memory power will come back and you will feel much better.
So, how are these tips? I am sure they will help you in remembering things in a more efficient manner.
